Your Impact

Axon’s federal market team seeks a customer-obsessed Mission Success Manager who consistently overdelivers. Our federal public safety customers operate in high-stakes environments with challenging missions, and they need a trusted partner who can turn complex problems into meaningful outcomes.

As a Mission Success Manager, you will be that partner. You will own a portfolio of Axon’s most important federal customers, develop a deep understanding of each customer’s mission, and take accountability for their success. You will bring together the best of Axon to solve hard problems, ensure our technology delivers real operational value, and build partnerships that make Axon indispensable to the missions you support.

  • You own mission success. You are accountable for your customers’ success with Axon—from delivering their programs effectively to driving adoption, value realization, and continuous improvement. You connect what Axon delivers to the outcomes your customers need to achieve.

  • You are the customer’s trusted partner. Build strong relationships with stakeholders from day-to-day operators to senior executives. Earn their trust by being responsive, candid, and reliable, and become the person they turn to when they have a challenge, an idea, or need help navigating Axon.

  • You make complex programs run effectively. Manage scope, schedule, cost, dependencies, and risk across your portfolio. Bring clarity to ambiguity, proactively remove obstacles, and ensure commitments turn into outcomes.

  • You orchestrate Axon around the customer. Work across Sales, Deployment, Technical Support, Product, Engineering, and other teams to deliver what the customer needs. You know who to engage, when to engage them, and how to drive alignment across organizational boundaries.

  • The misses keep you up at night. Anticipate problems before they become escalations and take ownership when things go wrong. Identify recurring pain points and emerging customer needs, drive them toward resolution, and ensure lessons learned turn into action.

  • You know how your decisions impact the business. Understand how decisions around product scope, services, costing, scheduling, and contract structure affect both customer outcomes and company performance. Identify opportunities where Axon can solve additional customer needs and partner with Sales to grow and scale the relationship.

  • You have a low ego, high impact attitude. You set a high bar for yourself, bring recommendations instead of just problems, and do whatever is needed to drive the right outcome. You are excited by being an individual contributor because it gives you the opportunity to solve hard problems and make a measurable impact.
