Mid Level Radio Frequency Engineer
Amentum is seeking an Mid Level Electrical/RF Engineer to perform Test, Evaluation, Integration, and configuration of DoD C5ISR systems.
Mid Electrical/RF Engineer Responsibilities Include:
E3 Computation and RF Modeling and Simulation (M&S).
Performing analyses of EW, communication, and radar systems.
Developing detailed EMI/EMC test plans, test reports; review technical documentation; and technical meeting support.
Participating in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews.
EMI/EMC testing; gather, reduce, and analyze resulting data.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Zero (0) to six (6) years of experience in one or more of the following, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Naval Architecture.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific topside areas: Integrated Topside Design; EMP; E3; EMI; EMC; Computation and Modeling; EMP Testing and PCI shipboard testing; EMP Modeling and Simulation; Shipboard Electromagnetic Compatibility; EMI problem investigation, characterization, and quantification; E3 instructions, standards, policies and procedures; EMC document review; EMC SHIPMAIN technical assessments; EMC acquisition engineering and EMI analysis; EMI planned maintenance systems; EMC certification; USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP); EMI fix engineering; technical program support; CASREP EMI investigations; and EMI characterization and quantification.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Experience:
One (1) year of experience theoretical and practical aspects of test, evaluation, and integration related to C5ISR systems.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific areas: RF Engineering and analysis; EMI/EMC; RF Computation and simulation.
Experience with MATLAB and modeling/simulation software applications.
U.S. Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (C5I) experience.
Compensation Details:
$80,000-$140,000
