Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Analysts to provide financial management support to the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) for Munitions PMX-311 Terminal Defense Systems (TDS) (previously PEO IWS 11) Program Office. PAE Munitions PMX-311 is comprised of the Close-In Weapon System (CIWS), Directed Energy, Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS), Gun Weapon Systems (GWS), and the international cooperative Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) program with Germany. We are looking for a qualified individual to provide day-to-day leadership support to the Government’s Financial Team in the development, execution and monitoring of program budget activities for the RAM and CIWS programs.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership for programming, budgeting and execution support with day-to-day communication and interface with the BFM and the Government Financial team

  • Support program execution activities of SCN, RDT&E, OM&N, WPN, OPN and Army funding appropriations

  • Utilize and maintain financial management tools to track approved funding, execution status and current obligations and expenditures by task, appropriation and activity.

  • Prepare financial data and documentation for incorporation into budget requirements/changes, Program Plan Execution, monthly status reports and other financial reports

  • Execute and track funding, spend plan development, and detailed cost reporting and analysis using the latest DoW/Navy financial systems

  • Assist in identifying and resolving financial execution issues such as missed benchmarks, emerging requirements, budget shortfalls, and funds availability

  • Prepare Financial Manager execution/obligation reports on the status of program appropriations

  • Lead the effort for support task planning preparation utilizing the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) Task Planning Sheets (TPS) process

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years financial support services experience with Navy/DoW programs

  • Proficient in the use of technical applications including MS Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite products

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to perform detail-oriented work supporting senior program leadership

  • Must be able to obtain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

  • Familiarity with Navy budgeting and execution tools including ERP and NEPS

  • Ability to travel <10%

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Financial Management support experience with NAVSEA/NAVAIR services programs

  • Current authorized user of Navy ERP and NEPS

  • Current authorized user of NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT)

  • Experience supporting and working with international customers

  • Current active US DoD SECRET clearance

       

Compensation Details:

$85,000 - $100,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
