Job Summary: Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual who enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast paced environment and can meet the proactive and reactive challenges of supporting the operations to join our Materials team as a Material Handler. The Material Handler will perform a variety of tasks associated with inventory control and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.

This is a 3rd Shift position: Sunday - Friday, 11:15 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

What You Will Do:

  • Operate forklifts, tuggers, and overhead cranes to safely move materials, tools, fixtures, and equipment throughout the facility, including performing daily equipment inspections.
  • Deliver materials, tools, and fixtures to production cells while maintaining accurate inventory, proper storage, and completing SAP transactions for receiving, shipping, inventory movement, and material kitting.
  • Provide administrative support for shipping, receiving, and material kitting operations, including maintaining inventory records and processing documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management and material movement to support production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Follow all safety policies, standard work practices, and housekeeping requirements to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Work overtime as needed and perform physical job duties, including standing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds while using ergonomic lifting devices as required.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience in materials, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Experience with material packaging and kitting.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
