What You Will Do:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Use of company SAP system to process shipments.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards

  • Create documentation for international customs purposes– Commercial Invoice, SLI, etc.

  • Ability to understand and perform AES/EEI filing requirements. 

  • Ability to perform licensed shipments

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the ITC team. 

  • Follow all company ITC rules and regulations.

Drive Quality Assurance by:

  • To ensure the product and related paperwork are correct and any special or customer requests are completed.

  • Review documentation for special requirements

  • Perform necessary inspection tasks to ensure paperwork and parts are correct

  • Ensure required documentation for each order is present

  • Create customer portal entries as required

  • Create/Request customer labels as required

  

Provide top-notch customer service by:

  • Ability to handle urgent requests from internal and external customers.                       

  • Capable of maintaining short lead times and handle special requests.                                     

  • Report, update, transact and provide information that supports company sales                                                                                                              

  • Ability to meet customer requirements and expedited shipments while maintaining quality.

  • Capable of working extended hours or weekends as needed to meet a customer's requirements.

Effectively communicate by:

  • Maintain positive communication with internal and external customers.                                                         

  • Responsible for proper documentation and upkeep of files.                                                                              

  • Interact with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge, or resolve problems related to business issues.      

  • Maintain positive attitude in all communications

  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Associates of Arts or a Technical degree preferred

  • SAP knowledge is preferred

  • Previous experience with government contracts, packaging requirements, and shipping procedures is preferred.

  • Proven work history involving ownership of a process or project

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Regardless of your role type, collaboration and innovation are critical to our business and all employees will have access to digital tools so they can work with colleagues around the world – and access to Collins sites when their work requires in-person meetings. 

The salary range for this role is $50,924 - $95,511. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
