What You Will Do:
Works under minimum supervision to provide support to manufacturing area on a variety of engineering tasks
Performs complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects
Analyzes workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, or machine utilization
Lead and support process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce operational waste.
Perform scrap and rework analysis, including data review, root cause identification, and implementation of standardized procedures.
Participate in tooling design using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and alignment with engineering requirements.
Problem solving to enable production flow
Support to production line
Follow up on process improvements
Provide engineering support for production operations, including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup and root cause analysis within the machining business unit
May requires travel to the U.S. occasionally
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a university degree in a related field and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience in related field.
Proficient conversational and written English required, needs to be able to efficiently communicate both in person and in reports/via email.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated ability to use advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested IF statements), create and analyze pivot tables and charts, and perform data analysis to support business reporting and decision-making.
Hands-on experience using SolidWorks or any 3D CAD software for modeling, drafting, and interpretation of engineering drawings.
Experience operating, setting up, or troubleshooting soldering equipment, conformal coat or soldering conformal coat processes in a manufacturing environment. (solder machines knowledge)
Qualifications We Preferred:
Experience interpreting and working with engineering documentation, including technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, manufacturing procedures, and product specifications.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronic, Mechatronics or Mechanical preferred; Industrial or Aerospace Engineering also acceptable).
Project management experience, including planning, execution, and coordination of cross-functional initiatives.
Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, including root cause analysis (RCA) tools and problem-solving techniques.
