Northrop Grumman Missions Systems, Microelectronics Center has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Global Supply Chain Program Management organization overseeing our Foundries, Testing, Advance Packaging (FTAP) OU. This leadership position will be located onsite in Linthicum, Maryland.   This Global Supply Chain Program Manager 2 will be responsible, accountable and have the authority for operational efficiency, strategy, planning, and execution associated with the GSC statement of work for FTAP. This role is part of the GSC Program Management team and will be challenged to resolve issues and implement solutions, in a fast-paced environment – including process improvements, tools, metrics, data integration, and coordination and collaboration with key GSC and program stakeholders.

Key functions for this role include:

Coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed to address any organizational or programmatic risks and opportunities

 Develops material strategy and leads the activities in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP);

 The Manager will serve as a focal point with Responsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA) to the Operating Unit Leader within the GSCPM team

 Responsible for developing and executing GSC strategies to support the build process on the program, with focus on achieving affordability, operational efficiency, safety and first-time quality targets

Responsible for the accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data in support of the Earned Value Management baseline

 Proposal management to ensure the timely and quality submittal of Prime proposals

 Management of material financials in support of Program financial goals

 Briefs the executive management on the status and issues affecting cost and schedule performance

 Self-motivated and proactive, organized and detail oriented

 Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication skills

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8 years or a Masters degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, business management or other related field.
  •  3+ years of prior experience leading a team or direct people management
  •  Experience with general procurement and subcontract execution workflows
  •  Experience with general manufacturing and purchasing workflows
  •  Experience with material receipt forecasting
  •  U.S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance

 Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering and/or technical discipline
  •  Experience in supply chain management on a major program in defense and/or management in development or production projects
  •  Direct experience interfacing with executive leadership
  •  SAP experience
  •  Earned Value Management experience
  •  Experience executing and managing service agreements with major suppliers
  •  Experience with proposal management

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,800.00 - $209,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
