Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals and be the focal point within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization. This position will be 100% on site in our Salt Lake City, UT facility.
What You Will Get To Do:
Responsibilities:
Leads a team of Supply Chain Professionals that are responsible to the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that supply chain commitments are met
Oversees GSC team accountable to meet material budget requirements to support the PMO financial commitments
Accountable for supply chain program execution including material budget, resource planning, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution
Oversees and develops the material strategy for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process including leading the material estimating process and establishing and negotiating the budget with the PMO for responsible program portfolio
Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies
Ensures mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers or supply chain execution
Oversee briefings to the PMO and executive management on program status and any necessary action plans to address issues affecting program supply chain cost and schedule performance
Leads team to drive initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiency
Work cohesively with leaders in other disciplines such as engineering, operations, quality, and other personnel to manage material performance and ensure delivery of hardware to support production needs within budget
Acts as the escalation path for the PMO to address issues in program execution related to the supply chain
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Mgmt/Program Mgmt, Supply Chain or Operations Mgmt, OR a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Mgmt/Program Mgmt, Supply Chain or Operations Mgmt, OR a High School Diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience in Business Mgmt/Program Mgmt, Supply Chain or Operations Mgmt.
1 years of team leader and/or people management experience
Business Management experience
Ability to attain and maintain U.S. Government Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
Ability to travel up to 25% of time
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Mgmt or Admin, Global Supply Chain, or Project Management
Aerospace and Defense experience
Solid understanding of supply chain and program management principles, policies, procedures, and regulations
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with proven ability to develop and maintain strong internal/external customer relationships
Ability to communicate with multiple levels of internal leadership and externally to suppliers
Ability to work under limited supervision – No instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments
Experience with demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to model and promote a strong sense of engagement, teamwork, and cooperation
Earned Value experience
Cost Account Management exposure
High proficiency working in SAP, Tableau, and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents
Experience and understanding FAR/DFAR provisions including the requirements necessary to maintain a government approved contractor approved purchasing system (CPSR)
Knowledge and experience with ITAR and EAR requirements
Active U.S. Government Secret/Top Secret clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $104,500.00 - $156,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
