Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager – SAP Commerce Cloud / Software Development to lead our Agile SAP Commerce Cloud team at the Digital India Innovation Center.

In this role, you will lead a team of 15–20 SAP Commerce Cloud professionals, driving the planning and delivery of enterprise eCommerce solutions while ensuring business continuity, quality, predictability, and continuous improvement.

You will partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong SAP Commerce Cloud expertise with people leadership, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and a strong customer focus.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage a 15–20 member SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris team, ensuring successful delivery of enterprise eCommerce solutions.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership across the SAP Commerce Cloud development lifecycle.
• Drive Agile/Scrum practices, enabling teams to self-organize, improve delivery, and focus on business value.
• Plan and execute projects while managing priorities, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Partner with senior management, customers, and SAP stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead end-to-end integration between functional and technical teams to meet business requirements.
• Ensure SAP resources are aligned with business priorities and customer expectations.
• Foster a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, delegation, and continuous feedback.
• Establish and track delivery metrics and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and modern engineering practices across the team.
• Support enterprise initiatives and future migration planning toward SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure adherence to SAP, Digital Technology, and enterprise governance standards.

What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have

• 11+ years of relevant SAP experience, with strong hands-on experience in SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Proven experience managing a 15–20 member SAP Commerce Cloud development team.
• Strong experience in people leadership, delivery management, and project execution.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience guiding self-organizing teams.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Experience leading integration between functional and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Experience estimating project/resource effort and managing delivery timelines.
• Strong focus on quality, accuracy, customer experience, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience as a SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris Delivery Manager or Technical Manager.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale SAP eCommerce implementations.
• Experience with multiple SAP applications and a strong understanding of business processes.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience in conflict resolution and stakeholder negotiation.
• Experience managing complex projects across multiple teams and locations.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP governance and enterprise Digital Technology environments.

Educational Qualification

• BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech or equivalent degree.
• Typically requires a university degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
