WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage 1 non-exempt (contractor) who oversees the execution of the Label Information Packet process.
- Design Assurance Lead for high-complexity TIER 3 projects and capital expansions.
- Conduct training for Design Assurance Project Leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Leads risk-based discussions to drive identification and management of product technical risks through creation of Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) during product development stages.
- Monitors product, process, package quality performance and identifies quality related issues and trends. Works with and provides direction to functional peers and operations to develop and implement corrective actions
- Leads and supports Root Cause Analysis investigations where problems of complex scope require analysis of situation or data.
- Collaborates and provides leadership across the technical portion of the organization.
- Identify/gain agreement on design criteria, negotiate compromises, balance quality with other criteria across all functional areas.
- Ensures that the design and testing for all Abbott Nutritional products are fully compliant with applicable regulations and internal policy.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 7-years working experience in the food/nutritional industry and experience in the scale-up and commercialization of product innovations.
Exhibits high level of technical competence in data analysis and product related calculations.
Ability to effectively organize and communicate technical information based on audience within the organization.
Proficient technical writing skills; able to effectively and concisely communicate issues.
Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Ability and availability to work and interact with many cultures in many time zones and be capable of interpreting and analyzing technical data from different regions for decision making.
Ability to work independently and/or function with minimal supervision.
Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and analytical thinking.
The base pay for this position is
$99,300.00 – $198,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
