Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for a Logistics Planner to join our Product Support team of qualified individuals. This position will be located onsite in Melbourne, FL.

In this role, you will work within the Product Support – Multi-Domain Command and Control organization, supporting multiple products. You will analyze technical data and reports to determine spare parts and support equipment provisioning requirements. As a Planner, you will build strong relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers through direct communication, and you will perform a wide range of logistics support activities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting technical research on various aircraft systems

  • Providing logistics support to functions such as Contracts, Global Supply Chain, and Pricing

  • Preparing and reporting metric data

  • Reading and interpreting technical aircraft drawings

  • Maintaining various databases and spreadsheets

  • Inspecting new deliveries and preparing required shipping documentation

  • Coordinating with DCMA to obtain buy-off on repaired components

  • Hosting status meetings with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on the current posture of assets in the repair cycle

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of logistics experience; Master's degree with 0 years of experience

  • Must have experience reviewing and analyzing contracts to provide logistics services

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance

  • Must have intermediate proficiency using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

  • Must have experience creating shipping documents with attention to detail for contractual compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance

  • Previous experience in the DD250/WAWF Submission process

  • Experience with FAR/DFARS

  • Experience coordinating with DCMA

  • Experience using SAP and Content Management Systems

  • Intermediate experience with SharePoint and MS Project

Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 - $89,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
