Logistics Analyst

Nightwing is seeking to a cleared logistics professional with proven ability to fulfill various customer requirements. Be a self-starter, willing to go the extra mile to meet mission requirements in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You will be joining a diverse, dynamic team of quality logistics professionals motivated to the mission and contract success. Must be a team player with knowledge and experience in all facets of warehouse operations including but not limited to Receiving, Inventory, Shipping, Transportation, Data Entry, Inventory & Audits. You will interact with both internal and external customers daily both in person and via other communication channels. Transportation consists primarily in the local area but can involve nationwide travel. Our operations may require work in inclement weather to complete tasking.

9/80 Work schedule; M-F 0700-1630.
Required:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Experienced in packing large and small shipments, crating/palletizing accountable equipment.
Must be able to withstand physical demands of a warehouse environment: bending, squatting, twisting, climbing ladders, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, this could include lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50lbs unassisted, walking and standing for extended periods of time.
Operate forklift, pallet jacks power and manual, carts, power and hand tools. Training available.
The role involves periodic travel CONUS to manage offsite shipments and logistics functions, including overnight travel 1-2 times per month.
Candidate needs to be willing to obtain and pass valid DOT medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) operations.
Desired:
Experience creating documents DD250, DD1348, DD1149, SF1428 as required for government shipments.
Education:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
