Global Realty Legal Manager, VP
Position Overview The Legal Manager, VP – Global Realty Services is responsible for managing legal advice and counsel in support of the firm's global real estate portfolio, including leased and owned properties across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. This portfolio of operational real estate consists of approximately 6.5M SF, spread over 100 properties in 34 countries. Acting as a strategic partner, the role will assist Global Realty Services and senior stakeholders on real estate transactions, contractual matters, regulatory requirements, and risk management considerations.
The incumbent will play a critical role in enabling business objectives while ensuring appropriate governance, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. This role will also oversee the engagement and management of external legal counsel globally, advice and counsel internal real estate staff, and develop risk mitigation strategies.

What you will be responsible for
- Manage external legal counsel, including engagement, oversight of deliverables, and cost management
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on global real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions, dispositions, renewals, and restructuring activities
- Act as principal representative for Global Realty Services in M&A activities, including creation of due diligence requests, management of integration projects, and developing deal evaluation memoranda
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements and related documentation, ensuring alignment with firm standards, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with Global Realty Services, IT, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and internal Legal colleagues to support execution of real estate strategy and transactions
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate activities, providing clear, pragmatic, and business-aligned recommendations
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks across geographies
- Contribute to development of standard legal templates, policies, and best practices
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting corporate real estate
- Participate in global and cross-functional initiatives

Education & Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state required
- 5–10 years of legal experience, with preference for international real estate experience
- Experience supporting corporate real estate functions preferred
- Strong experience in real estate law
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $200,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
