$97,400.00 - $146,000.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Enhances subject area knowledge and provides external consulting. Determines guidelines and standards for the use of specific technologies. Serves as the subject matter expert and provides recommendations and solutions for a variety of technical projects or problems. Leads development and implementation of key programs and/or processes for the organization.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Designs, creates, and establishes Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) for various technologies and approaches to achieve high quality and consistent results. Advises on and executes the incorporation of new tools and experimental and analysis protocols. Responsible for continuing optimization of technologies and protocols and achieving greater efficiency and results.
- Establishes appropriate collaborations with Principle Investigators (external and internal) and companies that are developing new technologies. Keeps abreast of trends by attending seminars, reviewing literature, and meeting with product representatives.
- Develops and leads the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Manages and oversees the quality control of processes to ensure the best possible results. Develops and provides reports to researchers on results and troubleshoots any issues related to data.
- Develops, tests, and validates new data analytical methodologies. Creates and facilitates hands on staff training of these methods. Tracks and evaluates staff progress/proficiency and alters or enhances training as necessary.
- Represents the department at meetings with internal and/or external entities and promotes departmental interests and strategic goals.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
