LATAM Operations Manager
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Develops, implements and utilizes processes and tools to enable the sales life-cycle (pricing, orders, invoicing, opportunity assessment, field inventory management and other sales pipeline analytics and forecasting solutions). Reports and analyzes order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment. Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses.
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors. Has accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Typically reports to MG2 or Director.
Additional guidance/criteria: Manages and controls activities within a single country or a sub-region which is part of a larger geographical Region; Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 8 and 15 direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage interactions across Sales, Delivery, and external partners to ensure effective execution of operational processes.
- Partner with Sales and Channel teams across the subregion to perform workload planning, volume forecasting, and resource alignment.
- Oversee and coordinate end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Review sales requests and ensure completeness and accuracy of required information, approvals, authorizations, and contractual terms.
- Ensure compliance with credit requirements, pricing guidelines, contractual requirements, and multivendor processes.
- Manage rework, business approvals, operational controls, and audit requirements while ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Oversee renewals, month-end activities, operational quality, and escalations.
- Monitor key operational metrics, including Turnaround Time (TAT), Accuracy, Revenue Protection, and Disputes, and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Lead quality audits, operational reviews, and internal control activities.
- Drive resolution of complex operational and system-related issues, including issues within SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Lead process improvement, operational excellence, and automation initiatives.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, BDCs, IT, Finance, Delivery, and external partners.
- Lead and develop multinational teams across LATAM, ensuring effective performance management, coaching, workforce development, and employee engagement.
- Maintain high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction while effectively managing escalations and business priorities.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Typically 5+ years of people management experience, including leading teams responsible for business operations and internal operational processes.
- Proven people management experience, including leading teams and managing operational processes.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including coaching, team development, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influencing capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex operational issues and drive them to resolution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP environments, including SAP Legacy and SAP S/4HANA, and/or Salesforce.
- Experience with Quote-to-Cash, order management, sales operations, or similar end-to-end business processes.
- Advanced project management skills, including planning, risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.
- Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or automation initiatives.
- Green Belt or similar process improvement certification.
