IT Operations Analyst
The Opportunity:
Join our team as an IT Operations Analyst supporting enterprise-wide, mission‑critical systems located at BAN Stennis Space Center, MS. In this fast-paced operational role, you’ll help ensure the stability and availability of production environments by monitoring for issues, responding to alerts, and coordinating incident resolution. Responsibilities:
• Provide 24/7/365 shift-based monitoring for enterprise systems, applications, and services.
• Identify system alerts, service interruptions, and performance issues and initiate incident response.
• Document, track, and manage incidents following established processes and procedures.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and resolve routine technical issues.
• Coordinate incident response activities with system administrators, network engineers, and application teams.
• Facilitate technical bridges, conference calls, and incident coordination during service disruptions.
• Capture detailed incident notes, timelines, and actions for reporting and after‑action documentation.
• Support root cause analysis and contribute to process improvements that reduce recurring issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ability to work in a 24/7/365 shift-based operations environment. (Schedule is: 5:30AM-6:00PM Thursday-Saturday, Alternating Wednesdays).
• Strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and situational awareness in high‑tempo environments.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across multiple technical teams.
Desired:
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT service management/ticketing platforms.
• General knowledge of networking and infrastructure technologies (firewalls, switches, Windows/Linux servers, AWS, Azure).
• 2–4 years of experience in a large-scale computing, NOC, SOC, or enterprise operations environment.
• Background supporting incident management, service restoration, and operational communications.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
