Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.

Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Develop and execute test cases to validate the performance and capabilities of GPU-based Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solvers for compressor aerodynamics.

• Analyze results, propose improvements, and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Document processes, results, and findings to support ongoing development, and set best practice guidelines within the compressor aerodynamics department.

• Participate in team meetings and discuss with other engineers in the department. This position is almost exclusively office based.

What do you need to be successful? 

• Be eligible to work in Canada.

• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.

• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.

• Understanding of fluid dynamics and turbomachinery.

• Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, including cluster environments and parallel processing.

• Knowledge of Linux OS.

• Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solvers such as ANSYS CFX or Fluent, including setup, simulation, and post-processing.

The salary range for this role is 23.70 to 34.50 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
