Installation Planning & Engineering Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a facilities professional, you understand that careful analysis, relationship-building, and attention to detail are crucial when supporting master planning and engineering activities for installation infrastructure. We need an experienced facilities specialist who can apply engineering judgment, analytical skill, and multi‑disciplinary coordination to support the Marine Corps.
On our team, you’ll help manage and support master planning and engineering analysis by evaluating field conditions, developing engineering inputs, and performing technical reviews related to long-term installation development. Specifically, you'll assist with validating planning assumptions, reviewing infrastructure system data, contributing to multi‑discipline engineering documentation, and coordinating with Public Works, engineering teams, and planners to ensure proposals align with Government requirements and installation needs.
In this role, you’ll closely impact Marine Corps installation management by supporting documentation, analysis, and planning deliverables tied to master planning and engineering initiatives. By supporting technical reviews, requirements validation, and planning-level coordination, you’ll help ensure installation development remains compliant, feasible, and strategically aligned. You Have:
Experience contributing to engineering analysis, multi‑discipline review packages, or planning documentation
Knowledge of facility engineering practices, planning principles, or design coordination workflows
Ability to synthesize technical inputs, field conditions, and planning assumptions into structured documentation
Ability to coordinate with installation‑level stakeholders to support documentation, scoping, design reviews, or requirements validation
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience supporting installation or facility lifecycle management, infrastructure engineering, master planning, or mission‑support initiatives, or Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience supporting installation or facility lifecycle management, infrastructure engineering, master planning, or mission‑support initiatives
Nice If You Have:
Experience supporting MCICOM, MCIPAC, NAVFAC, or other DoD installation engineering or master planning organizations
Experience developing or contributing to engineering analysis supporting FSRM, MILCON, or UMMC project planning
Experience supporting master planning reviews, requirements development, or infrastructure planning assessments
Knowledge of MILCON or FSRM cost estimation practices, engineering review workflows, or UFC criteria
Ability to use AutoCAD, BUILDER SMS, GIS, PAX, or similar facility or asset management systems
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred; Master’s degree in Engineering or Architecture a plus
Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
