Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking a Industrial Security Analyst 2 to: develop and administer physical security and general security procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, equipment and facilities. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions including PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Contract Security, Investigations, and Document Control Management. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Review and completion of physical security requirements and assessments as they pertain to Northrop Grumman facilities.
Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems.
Assist accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s).
Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.
Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of Industrial Security experience or relevant with a Bachelors degree, 0 years with a Masters degree; an additional four years of applicable work may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Current Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with in-scope investigation.
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Knowledge of the Department of Defense Manual 5205.07, ICD-705, and/or SEAD reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar databases.
Working knowledge of DoD, programs.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
