ICAM Specialist, Senior
The Opportunity:
You will serve as the Senior Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) expert supporting federal health agencies, functioning as the primary subject matter expert guiding ICAM strategy, modernization, and solution delivery across the federal health market. In this role, you will shape and advance our ICAM posture for key clients by architecting secure, scalable identity ecosystems; advising client leadership on modernization pathways; and steering ICAM requirements across a growing health‑sector opportunity pipeline.
You will partner closely with Health Cyber technical leads to define solution approaches, support capture and proposal development, and deliver compelling client briefings, demonstrations, and executive‑level narratives. As the primary ICAM expert, you will ensure our solutions align with federal mandates, Zero Trust principles, and enterprise identity frameworks while guiding teams across identity governance, privileged access management, non‑human identity, federation, and credential lifecycle modernization. This position blends deep technical leadership with forward‑leaning client engagement, helping shape federal health agencies’ identity strategies and driving the successful pursuit and delivery of ICAM work across the Health Cyber portfolio. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
8+ years of experience architecting enterprise ICAM solutions across core identity domains, including identity governance and administration (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), non‑human and machine identities, credential management, access management, or federation to design cohesive, scalable, and modern identity ecosystems
Experience developing and presenting modern identity modernization strategies to federal health or civilian agencies
Knowledge of federal ICAM frameworks, including FICAM, NIST 800‑63, Zero Trust identity, and credentialing standards
Knowledge of modern identity platforms such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Ping, or Microsoft Entra ID
Ability to provide end‑to‑end technical solutioning and subject‑matter expertise for ICAM modernization initiatives, including developing and refining technical approaches, authoring and reviewing proposal responses, collaborating with clients to shape requirements, delivering technical demonstrations, and supporting capture and pre‑RFP activities to advance Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) opportunities
Ability to design and solution full‑spectrum identity architectures for hybrid, cloud, and on‑prem federal environments
Ability to lead technical discussions, drive modernization strategies, and translate mission requirements into actionable ICAM roadmaps
Bachelor’s degree in an IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Information Systems field
Nice If You Have:
Experience supporting federal health agencies in cybersecurity or identity modernization efforts
Experience integrating ICAM capabilities with Zero Trust security architectures and federal cybersecurity modernization initiatives
Experience advising teams on identity risk, governance maturity, and strategic ICAM program development
Experience supporting proposal capture activities to prospective federal clients
Knowledge of enterprise directory modernization, identity federation patterns, and cross‑domain credentialing
Ability to create compelling executive‑level identity strategy briefs tailored to mission leadership
Ability to automate identity governance workflows, provisioning, and compliance reporting
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
ICAM certification, such as Certified Identity Professional (CIDPRO) or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
