We are searching for a driven and strategic Senior Manager, HR Employee Partner to join our Business Functions team. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to support and coach frontline leaders and employees, foster positive employee relations, and solve complex problems to ensure high-performing teams. You will be at the forefront of workplace investigations, conflict resolution, employee engagement, and building strong partnerships across the team.

What You Will Do
- Support RTX’s People Strategy through positive employee relations.
- Drive employee engagement strategy and monitor data and tools to proactively address engagement risks.
- Provide HR policy interpretation and ensure fair application.
- Coach and counsel leaders to develop high-performing teams, including performance coaching and management.
- Navigate complex workplace situations between employees.
- Support leaders and employees with completion of key HR processes, such as Annual Compensation Planning, Performance Impact, Individual Development Plans, and leader training.
- Investigate HR matters objectively and drive resolution
- Serves as a key contact for union representatives and manages labor-management relationships.
- Negotiate and administer one Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
- Develop and conduct training for leaders on labor laws, union matters, and CBA provisions.
- Partner with ELR, HR, and Managers to develop long-term strategies for employee engagement and retention.
- Analyze trends in employee and labor relations and propose solutions to mitigate risk.
- Act as a thought leader in shaping the organization’s employee and labor relations practices.
- Support workforce hiring, reduction, and rebalancing as required by business needs.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- At least 7 years of human resources experience such as an HR manager, employee relations partner, or labor relations partner
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- Experience with communication, presentation, and facilitation.
- Experience managing multiple, and often conflicting priorities, while maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Uses discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
- Background and experience in employee relations.
- Experience influencing without direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience in Workday and Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with union contract negotiations

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
