HR Global Services Advisor for Türkiye and Greece

Job Summary:
In this role, you will oversee HR Global Services (operations) and provide comprehensive HR support for employees across Türkiye and Greece, based out of our Istanbul or Athens office.
You will be responsible for delivering a broad range of HR processes, including onboarding and offboarding, employee data management, HR administration, payroll and benefits support, and compliance with local employment legislation and company policies. You will ensure accurate records and consistent, efficient delivery of HR processes across the region.
You will act as a trusted HR point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and employee-related matters.
You will also identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience, support HR projects and initiatives, and contribute to HR education, training, and knowledge sharing.
Your focus will be on delivering high-quality HR services, supporting employees and managers effectively, and continuously improving HR processes across the region.
You should apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommend appropriate alternatives. Work on problems of diverse complexity and scope.
Job Responsibilities:
Acts as an HR consultant on matters of medium to high complexity, constantly advising local HR and business stakeholders (i.e. managers and employees) on local legislations, HR systems, and HR processes.
Provide support and process HR activities such as pre-hire checks, hiring in HR system (Workday), new-hire pre-onboarding, onboarding, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, termination of employment, etc
Implements and reviews country HR processes and policies, and ensures these are compliant with local legislations, applicable regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Creates and implements informational materials for employees and managers regarding policies and procedures, recruitment, training, benefits, and compensation
Makes decisions on administrative or operational matters, ensuring actions are in compliance with HR policies and processes.
Recognizes and reports trends to improve employees' and managers' direct access experience with HR sites, myHR sites, myHR services, and HR systems.
Partners with peers to improve processes and systems to deliver a positive experience throughout the employee’s lifecycle.
Maintains internal HR control standards, including timely implementation of internal audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Evaluates processes, tasks, metrics, and analytics within HR global services.
Works closely with HR systems and process integration teams to streamline processes, leverage automation and workflow, and spearhead improvements to systems and user experience.
Leads or supports country/regional/global projects and oversees and continuously improves employee onboarding and offboarding.
Ensures exceptional service by promptly responding to questions by employees via HR platform where country-specific HR knowledge or solutions are required and update knowledge database articles.
Supports and contributes to a wide range of HR projects and initiatives, including acquisitions and organizational changes, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities.
Develops and coordinates employee communications on HR-related topics, ensuring messages are clear, engaging, and aligned with company policies and priorities.
Identifies HR regulatory requirements and develops plans to ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
Provides guidance and coaching to managers in resolving complex performance and disciplinary matters.
Collates HR reports, including headcount, employee turnover, and other relevant indicators, providing insights and analysis to HR leadership.
Partners with relevant business leaders to understand business needs and implement people solutions that support the best interests of the site.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline or related HR services experience and demonstrated competence.
Typically has 4-7 years of of relevant experience in HR Generalist, HR Administration, payroll, and/or HR operations.
Preferred Certifications:
Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/ Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR)
Knowledge & Skills:
Solid knowledge of HR processes and practices across the employee lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of local employment legislation and HR compliance requirements.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and use people data to support HR decisions.
Understanding in HRIS and HR systems; experience with Workday is an advantage.
Good digital literacy and interest in HR technology, automation, and data analytics; Power BI experience is an advantage.
