The Opportunity

Abbott CRM is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the division’s human resources team and function. This position will report to the Divisional Vice President, Human Resources and will partner closely across the team to proactively design, develop and maintain division specific processes and programs. We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical individual with a creative mind and desire to learn.  This is an onsite role, based out of Sylmar, CA, and is not a hybrid role.


What You’ll Work On 
•    Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees, providing guidance, resolving inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience. 
•    Manage site onboarding, including new hire orientation; process employee data changes, transfers, and offboarding activities while maintaining compliance and data integrity. 
•    Generate, analyze, and validate HR data and reporting to support HR leaders, business partners, and global workforce planning initiatives. 
•    Provide high-level administrative support to HR leadership, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, meeting and event planning, presentations, and executive communications. 
•    Coordinate and distribute HR communications, recognition programs, special projects, and other initiatives that support employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. 
•    Leverage HR systems and advanced Microsoft Office tools to manage data, maintain shared resources, drive process efficiency, and support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Position Accountability/ Scope
•    Consistently interacts with HR staff, high-level executives, and employee population base.
•    Intermediate to advanced knowledge and understanding of business processes and requirements.
•    Frequently handles confidential, business-sensitive information and manages deadline deliverables.
•    Maintains and manages calendars, including meeting and travel scheduling and domestic and international travel arrangements.
•    Proactively identifies and resolves scheduling conflicts, maintaining calendars and proactively planning in meeting project deliverables.
•    Primary point of contact for manager’s schedule and coordination.


Experience You'll Bring 

Required Qualifications 
•    High School diploma or equivalent.
•    3+ years previous administrative experience or equivalent. Operates with general instruction and some supervision.
•    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, competing deadlines, and proactively seeking methods to enhance efficiencies.
•    Demonstrated high level of confidentiality and discretion on all information and interactions representing the department.
•    Strong analysis and decision-making skills. Strong attention to detail and comfort in working with large amounts of data.
•    Can work independently and prioritize work.
•    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio or OrgPlus, and Outlook.

The base pay for this position is

$24.65 – $49.35/hour

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
