About the Role
This role is responsible for defining and delivering strategic and tactical software solutions for HP’s Home Print portfolio, with a focus on connectivity, printer setup, Wi‑Fi aware experiences, and the applications that ship with and support HP printers. The Product Manager will work closely with hardware product managers, print software teams, app teams, engineering, design, and analytics to shape global experiences used by a large customer base, ensuring HP printers connect reliably, work intuitively, and integrate seamlessly across the broader HP hardware and services ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Consumer Print software strategy and execution Define and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Home Print software solutions, balancing long-term ecosystem strategy with near-term delivery needs.
- Lead connectivity-focused product scope Drive product definition for experiences that help customers get and stay connected, including printer setup, device discovery, Wi‑Fi aware capabilities, peer-to-peer experiences, and troubleshooting flows.
- Influence applications that ship with HP printers Partner with HP app and platform teams to shape software experiences distributed with printers and PCs, ensuring consistent, intuitive, and globally scalable user journeys.
- Partner across the HP hardware ecosystem Work closely with hardware product managers, firmware, print software, connectivity, and platform teams to align software requirements with current and future printer portfolios.
- Champion global customer experience Use customer insights, telemetry, support trends, and market needs to improve experiences for a large global user base across devices, operating systems, regions, and customer segments.
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle Own product definition from concept through launch, adoption, optimization, and lifecycle management, including requirements, priorities, trade-offs, launch readiness, and post-launch learning.
- Define measurable product outcomes Establish KPIs tied to setup success, connectivity reliability, app engagement, adoption, support reduction, satisfaction, and overall Home Print business impact.
- Translate technical complexity into clear priorities Convert complex hardware, firmware, app, cloud, and OS dependencies into actionable product decisions, crisp narratives, and aligned execution plans.
- Lead cross-functional alignment Influence engineering, design, analytics, support, marketing, regional, and go-to-market partners to deliver cohesive experiences across printer setup, usage, maintenance, and support.
- Operate with ownership and judgment Navigate ambiguity, make informed trade-offs, escalate risks early, and drive decisions that improve customer outcomes while supporting HP’s broader Home Print strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7–10 years of experience in software product management, technical product management, or related product leadership roles
- Experience delivering software experiences that interact with hardware, devices, firmware, cloud services, operating systems, or connected ecosystems
- Strong understanding of connectivity-related customer experiences such as setup, pairing, device discovery, Wi‑Fi, network troubleshooting, or peer-to-peer workflows
- Proven ability to work in global, cross-functional environments with hardware, software, app, design, analytics, and go-to-market stakeholders
- Experience working within Agile or SAFe Agile delivery models preferred

Pay & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
