Healthcare Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:
Manages the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructures. Ensures compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Applies advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
3+ years of experience planning, executing, and monitoring activities concerned with the operation of healthcare environments, facilities, and systems
Experience in on-site audits and inspections
Experience with regulatory and consensus standards such as National Fire Protection Association and Unified Facilities Criteria and enterprise-level construction management policies and guidance
Experience working in a healthcare environment, including construction and engineering operations and associated requirements such as infection prevention and control
Ability to problem solve and manage complex projects
Ability to provide healthcare facility operations support including organizing, scheduling, and facilitating technical discussions and working groups
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in in engineering, construction management, or architecture
Nice If You Have:
Experience in training development and delivery
Experience in key performance indicator (KPI) development, data analysis, and reporting
Experience with Federal government agencies such as U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)
Experience working in or with VA healthcare facilities
Possession of effective oral and written communication skills
Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
