Raytheon Logistics is looking for an independent, self-motivated HAZMAT Logistics Lead located at the Merrimack, NH facility.  

What You Will Do

  • Creating, packaging, and shipping of HAZMAT material to include the completion of dangerous goods declarations.
  • Be involved in the procurement of HAZMAT goods.
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks related to the incoming and outgoing of program and facility materials and equipment. 
  • Validating incoming material against a packing list with the ability to legibly notate all discrepancies and accurately input data into the facility asset management system.
  • Support other logistics functions i.e., packaging, inventory support, material expediting, kitting, and using material handling equipment.
  • Be extremely detail oriented with the ability to focus on the task at hand.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when required.
  • Manage chemical inventory utilizing ALCS, shelf- life reports, and manual inventory.

What You Will Learn  

  • Packaging and shipment of HAZMAT material under DOT, IATA, IMDG.
  • DES Hazardous waste disposal and spill response certifications.
  • Training in DGIS, TCMIS and ALCS software.    
  • Ability to assist our package department with HAZMAT battery shipments.
  • Prepare and package HAZMAT shipments in a timely manner.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in one or more of those areas: Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Production, Planning, Manufacturing and/or Warehouse.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with the ability to provide quick responses and a high degree of flexibility.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
