HART Systems Administrator
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a System Administrator to join our technical operations and maintenance team on a contract supporting Department of Homeland Security. This role is primarily focused on systems administration, maintenance and support, and will respond to monitoring alerts, and manage incidents to resolution in a 24/7/365 environment. They will work closely with other operations and engineering teams to quickly identify issues impacting the HART tool, triage, resolve incidents, document for root cause analysis, and complete pre-defined patch management.
Shift: 4pm to Midnight, MON-FRI
Responsibilities:
As a System Administrator your responsibilities include:
• Respond to HART system and networking alerts, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
• Work closely with other support teams to ensure incident events are handled in a timely manner.
• Maintain STIGs and patch compliance of Windows and RHEL operating systems
• Maintain STIGs and patch compliance of WebLogic, Tomcat, ActiveMQ, and Apache Camel middleware and application servers
• Maintain STIGs and patch compliance of Active Directory, MySQL, and Postgres SQL databases and infrastructure
• Monitor pre and post patch system health via Dynatrace/Splunk
• Draft and send incident notifications to government stakeholders and other support teams.
• Monitor and perform health checks of systems critical to infrastructure including servers.
• Document, track, and coordinate incidents in ServiceNow.
• Perform Tier II-level administration tasks to ensure HART system operations are sustained
• Escalate unresolved issues to Tier III.
• Assist with postmortem related activities and support various efforts related to operational improvements.
• Based on recommendations from management, implement new and improved processes, change processes, perform new tasks, create reports, and address ad-hoc requests.
• Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred
• BA/BS + 7 years of applicable experience
• ITIL Foundation certification (not required to start but expected to attain in first six months)
• Ability to work the following shift: MON-FRI 4pm - Midnight
• Ability to perform in-depth RHEL administration, Windows administration and RH Satellite management.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, VPCs, RDS, IAM) and ability to perform hardening and patch cycles
• Can perform Ansible automation and Terraform/CloudFormation
• Strong experience with STIGs and patch compliance
• Experience using Service Now service management software, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Tenable monitoring and security tools
• Experience using AWS native tools for DevOps and automation
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly (servers, switches, virtual hosts, etc.)
Desired:
The following certifications are highly desired:
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Red Hat Certified Engineering (RHCE)
• ITILv45 Foundation
• Experience with multi-cloud environments, disaster recovery, and performance tuning of database and application servers
• Experience with containerization technologies (i.e. Docker)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (i.e. Python, Shell, etc.)
• Experience with configuration management tools beyond Ansible (i.e. Puppet, Chef, etc.)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
