Global Recruiting Business Partner – Commercial Organization (CO)
The Global Recruiting Business Partner (GRBP) is a mission-critical role at the heart of HP’s Enterprise Recruiting Organization. This role acts as a strategic advisor and trusted connector between HP’s Commercial Organization (CO) and the Recruiting, Inclusion and Culture (RIC) organization. Partnering closely with Commercial business leaders, People Organization partners, and recruiting teams across regions, the GRBP operates at the intersection of business strategy, talent, and growth. This role translates business priorities into inclusive, scalable recruiting strategies that enable HP to attract, engage, and retain world-class talent. The position plays a pivotal role in accelerating business performance, enabling organizational growth, and building a future-ready workforce that supports HP’s commercial objectives and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Consulting
Serve as the single point of contact for Commercial Organization (CO) People Organization Leadership and People Partners on all recruitment-related matters.
Provide strategic consulting by aligning hiring needs with Commercial Organization business priorities, growth initiatives, and workforce strategies.
Partner with senior business leaders to develop proactive talent acquisition strategies that support revenue growth, customer success, and organizational objectives.
Identify and resolve recruitment challenges, ensuring alignment between business demand, talent availability, and recruiting capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Build strong, trusted partnerships between Enterprise Recruiting and Commercial Organization leadership, including CO executives, People Partners, and Centers of Excellence.
Facilitate alignment across recruiters, sourcers, Recruitment Market Leads, and Commercial Organization stakeholders to ensure effective hiring outcomes.
Share regular Commercial Organization business updates, workforce trends, and hiring forecasts with Recruitment Market Leads to support workforce planning, capacity management, hiring prioritization, and strategic initiatives.
Act as a bridge between business leaders and recruiting teams, ensuring recruiting strategies evolve alongside changing business priorities.
Strategic Hiring Projects & Program Management
Lead and support strategic hiring initiatives, including business expansions, go-to-market transformations, new market opportunities, critical skills hiring, and organizational redesigns.
Act as project manager for complex hiring initiatives, coordinating recruiting activities against business requirements, timelines, and success metrics.
Track progress, identify hiring risks or performance gaps, and establish mitigation plans to ensure recruiting objectives are achieved.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance recruiting effectiveness, candidate experience, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Talent Market Insights & Workforce Advisory
Provide expert insights on global talent markets, labor trends, competitive intelligence, and sourcing strategies to inform business and workforce planning decisions.
Advise business leaders and People Partners on talent availability, hiring strategies, location considerations, and workforce risks.
Partner with Sourcing, University Recruiting, Executive Recruiting, Inclusion, Culture, and Onboarding teams to develop integrated talent strategies that strengthen HP's market competitiveness.
Recruiting Excellence & Representation
Champion Enterprise Recruiting, Inclusion, and Culture priorities, ensuring alignment with Commercial Organization talent objectives.
Promote and tailor HP’s People Promise to resonate with commercial talent segments and business needs.
Support strategic, business-critical, or confidential searches when required.
Partner with broader recruiting teams across mainstream, executive, and specialized hiring functions to ensure operational excellence throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
Drive accountability for delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences while meeting business hiring goals.
Experience and Education
8–10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Workforce Planning, HR Program Management, or other strategic HR roles.
Strong knowledge of global talent acquisition policies, processes, and governance.
Experience supporting commercial, sales, marketing, customer success, or business operations organizations within a complex enterprise environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting multiple countries and markets, with a strong international mindset.
Proven success working in complex, matrixed, multinational organizations and partnering with senior business leaders.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are a plus.

Analytical and data-driven, with curiosity and openness to AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
Strong understanding of talent market dynamics impacting sales, customer-facing, technical, and commercial talent segments.
International, open-minded, and culturally sensitive professional, comfortable working across regions and cultures.
The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
