The Opportunity
The position of Finance Supervisor is within our Toxicology business unit, within our finance team, located at our Kansas City, Missouri or Lake Forest, Illinois, office, and will be part of our Workplace Services, which is committed to developing and delivering innovative products and services. These products and services automate and streamline the employee screening process by combining cutting-edge technology with superior customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compare and analyze monthly operating cost results to forecast, plan and prior year, identifying and documenting key business drivers of variances in monthly reporting package
Develop, maintain and periodically update cost allocation models for measuring customer and service profitability and operating performance
Work collaboratively with the finance team and business leaders to develop and maintain long-range roadmap of key strategic initiatives and associated financial projections
Support internal business partners with the creation and maintenance of PowerBI dashboards and other visuals to convey reporting insights
Assist with special projects and prepare ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making (e.g., “what if" analysis)
Identify and drive process improvement and reporting automation and enhancement opportunities
Model, forecast and measure savings for Gross Margin Improvement projects using Provalido, the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics savings manager
Complete Requests for Capital Expenditures, prepare supporting return-on-investment and discounted cash flow projections and monitor actual spend vs. authorized
Develop expertise in all applicable financial-related systems and processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
4 years or more of work experience in auditing, accounting or finance
Periodic travel may be required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree
Ability to organize and interpret large amounts of data, identify and interpret trends, and summarize in a clear and concise format
Proficient in Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of financial statements and concepts

The base pay for this position is
$86,700.00 – $173,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
