Job Summary: Join Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge team as a Final Inspector, where you'll serve as the final quality checkpoint before aerospace components are released. You'll verify inspection records and quality documentation in SAP, ensure all required inspections have been completed, and work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure products meet the highest standards.
This is a Weekend Night Shift position: Friday – Sunday 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
What You Will Do:
- Perform final inspections of forged aerospace components by verifying inspection results, engineering requirements, and product documentation before final release
- Review inspection codes and quality records in SAP to ensure all required inspections and operations have been completed
- Identify, document, and communicate product or process nonconformances while partnering with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues
- Create and close inspection lots, complete inspection documentation, and authorize final product acceptance
- Support production by monitoring work-in-process, communicating inspection priorities, and maintaining required certifications, including Pratt & Whitney Final Inspection Certification
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or GED
Qualifications We Prefer
- 1+ years’ experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and quality systems, including SAP and Solumina
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
