The Opportunity:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of CACI's facilities in Melbourne, FL. This role ensures that all facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. The Facilities Manager will oversee maintenance operations, manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance facility performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

  • Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

  • Monitor and control facility-related budgets and expenses.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues.

  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.

  • Manage emergency response plans and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility operations.

  • Monitor building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing) to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules for equipment, machines, and vehicles.

  • Provide 24/7 availability for building emergencies as they may arise at assigned locations.


Qualifications:

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: Office and facility environments with potential exposure to varying weather conditions and construction sites.

Required: 

  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.

  • Certification in Facility Management (e.g., CFM) is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.

  • Familiarity with LEED or other green building standards is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


Desired:

  • Experience with CACI or similar defense contractor environments.

  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,100 - $147,400
