In this role, you will lead the F135 Forecasting and Business Operations team. You will be a results driven leader responsible for the F135 material planning and forecasting process. This role has responsibility over the unit and depot planning and forecasting team including our internal Aggregate Demand process. In this process the Program communicates the demand signal to the supply base and works with the Production Chief Team, SIOP team, and other Program teams to manage that demand over time. Additionally, this leader has oversight over the business operations team including the cost account managers. As such, this leader will work with cross functional teams to ensure staffing levels across the Materials team align with the contract to meet commitments. This position requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate robust interactions with Pratt & Whitney discipline leaders, executives, project managers, US government, and international customers. The candidate will also require diplomacy skills to tactfully interact with horizontal and vertical management levels throughout the F135 enterprise.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team to develop the near-term and long-term Depot and Unit forecasts for proposals, aggregate demand, and day-to-day serviceable part requirements

  • Develop and track the key metrics across the supply chain management processes

  • Create an environment that fosters empowerment and talent development through a safe, and strong culture

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience in supply-chain, business, operations, or technical discipline; OR an Advanced degree and 10 years of supply-chain, business, operations, or technical discipline experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. (DoD clearance) U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Good analytical skills: Able to organize, logically analyze, and present spares information that may be pulled in from several info systems

  • Familiarity with engine Bills of Material, spares configuration management databases, and spares provisioning tables

  • Demonstrate work experience that details examples of self-starting ability, initiative, and capacity to drive complex issues to closure

  • Experience with contracts, statements of work, and negotiations

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
