We're seeking an EH&S Manager to lead and manage site Environmental Health & Safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental, health, and safety regulations (air, water, waste), as well as RTX/PW requirements.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the development, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of site EH&S programs, procedures, and initiatives in alignment with RTX/PW requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
- Conduct and coordinate EH&S audits, inspections, and compliance assessments to identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive timely corrective actions.
- Lead and support risk assessments related to LOTO, machine guarding, confined space, PRA, ergonomics, PPE, and other site-specific hazards; partner with site leadership to implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive a Zero Incident Safety Culture by partnering with leadership, supervisors, and employees to identify hazards, develop action plans, and implement sustainable EH&S improvements.
- Lead and support incident investigations to identify root causes, establish corrective actions, and ensure timely completion and documentation of risk mitigation activities.
- Lead the site EH&S Council and subcommittees, supporting performance tracking, trend analysis, injury reduction strategies, and corrective action planning to achieve EH&S goals.
- Develop, coordinate, deliver, and document EH&S training to ensure employees and leaders understand applicable regulatory, company, and site-specific requirements.
- Maintain EH&S metrics, records, reports, and regulatory submissions to support compliance and provide visibility into site performance and trends.
- Partner with internal teams and site leadership to develop and implement strategies that improve EH&S performance and support RTX/PW EH&S objectives.
- Recommend and implement improved EH&S practices based on regulatory requirements, audit findings, incident trends, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Promote a proactive EH&S culture by identifying and communicating unsafe conditions, environmental concerns, and opportunities for improvement to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide oversight of site security and support related site initiatives as required.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable EH&S policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and RTX/PW standards.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment, or an advanced degree in a related field and 7+ years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, concepts, and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, factory equipment, safety, and EH&S management systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively leading and participating on multiple cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing and presenting EH&S training.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple commitments and technical challenges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to occasionally work additional hours, off-shifts, and weekends as needed.
Qualifications We Value:
- Experience with RTX/PW EH&S management systems and OSHA VPP.
- EH&S certifications such as ASP, CSP, OHST, or CHMM.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and/or the CORE Operating System.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
