Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the testing and characterization of silicon photonic devices for PDK development and customer testing services. Working with senior engineers and project teams, you will execute test plans, perform measurements, analyze test data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on expertise in optoelectronics testing and semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Your Job

• Perform optical and electrical testing of silicon photonic devices at chip level and wafer level following established procedures and equipment operating instructions.
• Execute test plans and collect measurement data accurately and efficiently.
• Analyze test results and prepare reports for review by project teams and senior engineers.
• Assist in troubleshooting test-related issues and support root cause investigations.
• Maintain test setups and equipment to ensure proper operation and measurement accuracy.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and internal teams for routine calibration and maintenance activities.
• Support the implementation and optimization of automated test solutions for manufacturing and development activities.
• Work closely with designers, and other stakeholders to validate device performance against specifications.
• Document test procedures, observations, and results in a timely and organized manner.
• Perform other duties assigned based on project requirements and business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Optical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in optoelectronics and semiconductor technologies.
• Fundamental understanding of data analysis and statistical methods.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills. Adapted from the senior role preferred qualifications with reduced experience expectations.
