You will also lead innovation, automate deployments, and ensure seamless transition of engineered endpoint capabilities into operations.
The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.
Responsibilities:
Design, plan, configure, and implement enterprise Mobile Device Management solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud‑based endpoints.
Apply human‑centric design principles to optimize startup, login, application streaming, and overall user experience.
Configure hardware BIOS, RAM, device drivers, and full‑disk encryption to meet security and performance requirements.
Automate endpoint configurations, testing, and deployments using environment‑specific tooling.
Apply working knowledge of network concepts, firewalls, and VPN technologies to optimize customer interactions in secure, segmented environments.
Engineer profile‑management solutions that capture user settings, preserve customizations, and enable seamless workspace portability across devices.
Develop endpoint‑management solutions supporting existing, new, and emerging technologies to meet mission requirements for user personalization and application‑specific customizations.
Engineer solutions that support automated patch management and maintain configuration‑management databases to validate compliance with desired‑state baselines.
Implement full‑disk encryption using NIST‑, FIPS‑, and NSA‑approved algorithms.
Analyze requirements, concepts of operations, and system architectures to produce detailed endpoint‑infrastructure designs aligned with program objectives.
Collaborate with Operations teams and Government stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure availability, reliability, resiliency, and operability of endpoint services.
Conduct Analyses of Alternatives to support informed decisions on technologies, feasibility studies, and proofs of concept.
Incorporate capacity, performance, and service‑level metrics into endpoint‑service designs to enhance user experience and infrastructure efficiency.
Produce engineering artifacts, test cases, training materials, and CONOPS documentation independently or while guiding small teams.
Research new technologies, articulate integration benefits to stakeholders, and lead tradeoff analyses as part of Continual Service Improvement and innovation activities.
Use Lab facilities to conduct experimentation, feasibility studies, and validation of endpoint designs and technologies.
Develop and execute comprehensive unit and system‑level test cases using Lab environments to ensure coverage and readiness for deployment.
Support the transition of endpoint solutions to Operations through Acceptance testing, Blue/Green fielding, and early‑production rollout.
Provide advanced troubleshooting, repair, and optimization for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure components within the endpoint solutions domain.
