Electronics Technician
The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking an Electronics Technician. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. The position is based in our Melbourne, FL, office with occasional travel to Fairfax, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Assembly and disassembly (Completed PCBAs integrated into RF enclosures)
- inspection of PCBAs and Kit verification
- rework
- evaluation of complex RF and digital circuit boards and assemblies.
The candidate will be instrumental in the assembly and rework of products during pre-delivery integration, acceptance test, and delivery phases of the product life cycle.
Duties will include, but not be limited to
- Inspection of PCBAs and various mechanical parts
- Assembly and disassembly
- Rework
- Reading and understanding schematics, work instructions, and processes
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of team and independently, take initiative, and work well with internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Required
- US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
- Minimum 1-3 years’ hands-on experience as an electronics technician
- Ability to lift and carry 25-45 lbs.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed written and verbal instructions, assembly instructions, test procedures, schematics, and other engineering documentation
Desired:
- SECRET clearance
- IPC-A610 certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience troubleshooting RF and digital circuitry
- Experience using multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Working knowledge of radiofrequency or electronic warfare
