Your Role 

This role involves analyzing and evaluating serial link performance, working on calibration processes and closed-loop system design, and modeling photonic and electrical components. The candidate will collaborate closely with the digital team to implement designs in a fixed-point format.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Analyze serial link performance and define specifications at each stage.

• Design and develop calibration processes and closed-loop control systems, converting them into fixed-point representations for digital implementation.

• Model photonic and electrical components to evaluate and optimize system performance.

• Work closely with hardware and digital design teams to translate system-level models into implementable solutions.

• Assist in debugging, testing, and improving system performance.

Required Qualifications  

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Computer Engineering, or related field with 0–2 years of work experience.

• Excellent proficiency in MATLAB for system modeling and simulation.

• Strong C/C++ programming skills.

• Deep understanding of:

  • Continuous-Time and Discrete-Time Signals

  • Analog and Digital Communication Systems

  • Control Theory

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Hardware Description Languages (HDL) such as VHDL or Verilog.

• Knowledge of digital design principles and their implementation in FPGA/ASIC.
