The Opportunity:

As a Division Lead supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), you will direct operations, strategy, and personnel across multiple teams and directorates to synchronize contract capabilities with evolving government and military mission requirements. In this senior leadership role, you will provide strategic advisory support and subject matter expertise to agency leadership, facilitating capability sustainment and resource optimization in a dynamic, resource-constrained environment. You will leverage a comprehensive understanding of agency operations and command hierarchies to build trust-based partnerships, foster seamless integration between contractor and government personnel, and resolve complex organizational challenges as a seamless, integrated partner.

Responsibilities:

Conduct continuous operational gap analyses to identify mission requirements, advising government stakeholders on the strategic realignment of resources and billets to mitigate capability degradation and drive on-contract growth. You will navigate complex organizational structures and adapt communication strategies to diverse military and civilian stakeholder preferences to unblock team challenges and resolve operational roadblocks. Operationally, you will direct division-wide financial forecasting and burn rate management, to include Travel, EWW/EWP, and Flexible Time Off (FTO), while collaborating closely with corporate finance teams to execute agile funding adjustments. Furthermore, you will serve as the primary strategic Hiring Manager to set talent acquisition standards, and you will govern division-wide compliance by empowering subordinate Team Leads to execute daily administrative functions, timekeeping, expense reporting, and the timely submission of monthly deliverables in coordination with government ACORs.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • Extensive experience in operational management, overseeing multiple cross-functional teams and empowering subordinate team leads.
  • Understanding of financial forecasting, burn rate monitoring, and budget management within a government contracting environment.

  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to quickly read and adapt to varying government and military personalities.

Desired:

  • Prior experience supporting DTRA, with a deep understanding of its specific organizational dynamics, unwritten processes, and command structures.
