Director, Print Engineering AI Transformation Strategy

As the AI Transformation Strategist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how AI is embedded across Print R&D processes. This is a highly visible leadership position that sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and business impact—bringing together teams across the Innovation Hub, AI Factory, and business units to accelerate AI adoption at scale.

Success in this role requires a unique blend of enterprise program leadership, financial acumen, agentic AI initiative management, and influence across a complex stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic execution of Print R&D's AI transformation, connecting vision, investment, and delivery to drive measurable business outcomes.
Partner across the Innovation Hub, AI Factory, and business organizations to align priorities and accelerate AI adoption at scale.
Shape and guide an integrated transformation roadmap that balances near-term impact with long-term innovation goals.
Bring clarity and alignment across a complex portfolio of AI initiatives, ensuring teams are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration, building momentum and accountability across diverse stakeholders and leadership teams.
Drive the successful delivery of AI-enabled solutions from concept through deployment, helping teams translate ideas into real-world results.
Establish and champion a value-driven approach to transformation, ensuring investments deliver meaningful and sustainable business benefits.
Use data, metrics, and business insights to measure success, identify opportunities, and continuously improve portfolio performance.
Influence strategic decisions by providing leaders with clear visibility into progress, risks, priorities, and business impact.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, helping shape the direction and governance of Print's AI transformation journey.
Introduce best-in-class portfolio and program management practices that enable execution excellence across a broad transformation landscape.
Create the operating rhythm that keeps teams aligned, informed, and moving with speed and purpose.
Balance innovation and agility with the governance, security, and compliance standards required to scale responsibly.
Help establish the foundation for how AI is embedded into the Print development lifecycle, driving lasting organizational change.
Champion a culture of execution, continuous improvement, and business value realization across the AI ecosystem.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
MBA or equivalent strategic/financial background
Typically 10-15+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or portfolio/program management
Experience leading enterprise-wide AI or digital transformation programs
Familiarity with Agile/Scaled Agile (e.g., PI planning, SAFe environments)
Experience in hardware, print, or consumer technology industries
Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-scale transformation or digital portfolios
Experience defining and executing benefits realization and KPI frameworks
Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and enterprise deployment challenges
Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations (HP or similar preferred)

The pay range for this role is $166,050.00 - $249,100.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
