A Day in the Life

The Strategic Accounts Director leads enterprise partnerships across the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) market, with a focus on private equity-backed platforms and ASC management organizations. This role is responsible for developing growth strategies that expand Medtronic’s presence across ASC networks, increase portfolio adoption, and support long-term customer partnerships. The position is focused specifically on the ASC market and requires a clear understanding of how customer decision-making, business models, and growth strategies differ from hospitals and IDNs.

This role has a strong cardiovascular focus and works across a broad portfolio that may also include adjacent therapies relevant to ASC growth. Success requires the ability to engage executive leaders, physician owners, administrators, and financial stakeholders on topics such as portfolio strategy, procedure migration, capital deployment, and future program adoption. The role also requires strong business planning, revenue forecasting, and the ability to lead through influence across a matrixed commercial organization.

At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require 25% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. While this is a remote role, preference will be given to candidates residing in major markets in Florida, Texas, or Arizona to best support the customer accounts in these areas.
