US, CA, Santa Clara Remote Director Full-time
LLM

NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

This leader will set strategy and drive execution across a portfolio of platforms, manage a team of experienced engineers and technical program managers, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure platform operations meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and reliability. The opportunity isn't to build from scratch — it's to focus highly skilled people on the right problems, maintain high morale, and drive an integrated operating model that makes NVIDIA Marketing faster, smarter, and more impactful.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead a global platform engineering organization - setting direction, coaching talent, and building a culture where experienced engineers stay focused, energized, and doing their best work.

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery of the digital marketing platform portfolio, including customer data platforms, marketing automation, personalization, consent management, and pipeline infrastructure.

  • Lead personalization and decisioning capabilities across web, email, events, developer journeys, and content recommendations, with a focus on measurable customer and business outcomes.

  • Scale self-service data and agentic analytics experiences, so marketers can access trusted campaign, audience, event, and account insights faster.

  • Build and modernize scalable data pipelines that ingest, process, and unify customer, behavioral, consent, and audience data across marketing, sales, and platform ecosystems.

  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security to maintain consistent data governance, privacy, and compliance standards across all platforms.

  • Set standards for platform reliability, observability, incident response, release management, and deployment.

What We Need to See:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.

  • 12+ overall years in software or platform engineering, including 5+ years leading managers, senior engineers, and external partners.

  • Experience developing technical leaders and guiding distributed teams through organizational and technology change.

  • Deep expertise in microservices and distributed systems architecture — able to set technical standards, design robust API-first platform services, and guide complex architectural tradeoffs.

  • Strong command of modern data architecture: cloud-native production environments, event pipelines, database design (relational and NoSQL), data quality, governance, observability, and production operations.

  • Experience building or operating customer data, marketing automation, personalization, analytics, or AI-enabled platforms at enterprise scale.

  • A record of delivering complex programs across a matrixed organization while balancing priorities, risks, and team capacity.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions in practical business terms.

Ways to Stand Out from the crowd:

  • Experience with agentic marketing workflows, LLM automation, audience segmentation, or AI-assisted campaign operations.

  • Deep familiarity with customer data platform architecture: audience activation pipelines, identity resolution, consent enforcement, downstream system synchronization, and data quality governance

  • Background in digital marketing operations or marketing technology at a global technology company, with an understanding of how platform decisions drive customer acquisition, personalization, and campaign performance.

  • Experience evaluating platform investments through build-or-buy, cost, and business-value analysis.

  • Interest in NVIDIA technologies, accelerated computing, or AI infrastructure.
