THE OPPORTUNITY:

The primary function of this position is to manage key Margin & Profitability Value Streams for the CRM Division.  The incumbent will lead and direct key Value Streams, and associated resources, while collaborating across Business Unit leadership to drive and achieve division margin goals.  Provide leadership and management of high impact change programs that significantly improve productivity and cost structure of CRM business.  The scope will include both long-term planning and roadmap development, as well as short-term execution of critical projects and programs.   This position reports to the Divisional Vice President of Commercial Services, Margin & Profitability.  

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead key division Margin & Profitability Value Streams, including execution of large scale / high impact initiatives and reporting of progress to Executive Steering committee.

  • Design and lead projects for long-term value creation; Determine the ‘what must happen/stay on track’; Establish and evaluate key metrics; Drive results through innovative value creation and initiatives for continuous, measurable improvements

  • Collaborate and influence across Business Unit leadership and staff to assign goals, develop project funnels, support execution, and manage / mitigate risks.

  • Develop & deploy sustaining tools and processes that will continue after the project ends

  • Ensures that high impact programs are defined, resourced and implemented to achieve financial objectives as defined by both the OEM, Plan and LBE

  • Perform benchmarking and cost structure analysis to define significant opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with all Corporate functions to support the CRM journey

  • Develop roadmap for CRM Value Stream and execute to roadmap milestones.

  • Support and lead any key strategic initiatives driven by the Commercial Services organization.

  • Manage large-scale global projects to reduce costs, reduce inventory investment, improve/streamline "go to market" strategies/processes and/or improve service to CRM customers.

Accountability / Scope / Budget:

  • This position reports to the Divisional Vice President of Commercial Services, Margin & Profitability and is accountable for the design and execution of strategic programs that will enable CRM to meet short & long-term objectives.

  • Responsible for delivering annual margin savings per CRM’s Organic Execution Model.

  • Presenting key initiative updates to up to CRM Executive Leadership Team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of working in the industry in which an Abbott business competes

  • Proven history of critical thinking and problem solving, providing insights and delivering tangible results

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad financial and non-financial audience

  • Experience leading large and complex projects with global team members of various levels of management, including Executive-level

  • History of connecting various and disperse data to anticipate opportunities/issues and generate insights

  • Proven track record of anticipative thinking and advising stakeholder(s) of evolving opportunities/issues

  • Advance financial modelling

  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting healthcare industries

  • Bachelor’s degree required - Engineering, Science, Business or Finance.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree preferred - Business, Finance, Program/Project Management or Supply Chain.

  • Six Sigma Blackbelt certification preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$149,300.00 – $298,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
