Job Summary
• This role is responsible for overseeing a targeted business portfolio, driving growth and client partnerships. The role leverages industry expertise to generate leads for complex deals, guide pursuit strategies, and shape value propositions. The role nurtures client relationships, champions innovative solutions, and leads industry research and development while mentoring lower-level employees.

Responsibilities
• Oversees a targeted business portfolio within a defined area, fostering profitable growth and cultivating client partnerships.
• Leverages the recognition of an industry expert to generate leads and cultivate opportunities for large, complex deals spanning the client's enterprise, often at an international level.
• Creates deal opportunities and positions the organization early in deals to guide client strategy and shape deal requirements to align with organizational strengths, potentially leading to sole-source engagements.
• Guides the pursuit team in devising a compelling value proposition that addresses customer needs, evaluating key business drivers and potential risks.
• Educates and engages with various stakeholders to effectively communicate business solutions, address deal challenges, and ensure cohesive RFP/RFI responses.
• Develops pursuit strategies to steer account teams through lengthy sales cycles, enabling efficient pursuit activities.
• Nurtures client relationships over extended deal cycles, consistently reinforcing the organization’s credibility through adept persuasion and educational interactions.
• Provides innovative solutions and integrates advanced technologies, theories, or techniques with a significant impact across disciplines, championing large projects for long-range goals.
• Initiates industry-leading research and development, serving as a recognized lead authority internally and externally, while also assisting in training and mentoring lower-level employees.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 12+ years of work experience, preferably in services or solutions business, sales, business development, engagement, or a related field.

The pay range for this role is $166,050 to $265,700 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
