As the Director, Global Strategic Accounts - Graphic Solutions Business (GSB), you will lead a team of sales professionals and managers responsible for driving growth across a portfolio of strategic global customers within HP's Industrial Print business. This role combines sales leadership, customer engagement, and business strategy, with accountability for developing talent, strengthening executive-level relationships, and delivering against revenue and growth objectives. You'll partner closely with customers, stakeholders, and strategic partners to identify opportunities, shape sales strategy, and create long-term value.

You'll leverage customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to refine go-to-market approaches, enhance the customer experience, and drive business performance. In addition, you'll oversee strategic planning, resource allocation, and the adoption of modern sales tools and technologies, helping the organization operate more efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals and managers providing coaching, mentoring, and training to help the team meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews, recognizing and rewarding high achievers and addressing performance issues as necessary.

  • Define the overall sales strategy for the organization ensuring alignment with the long-term business goals and objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction to promote repeat business.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry changes to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Manage and allocate the budget for the sales department, making strategic decisions regarding expenditures, resource allocation, and cost management.

  • Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships or alliances that can significantly impact the organization's market position and revenue growth.

  • Gather feedback from customers and incorporate it into the organization’s offerings to enhance the sales process and foster positive customer experience.

  • identify and address potential risks that could affect the organization's sales objectives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.

  • Stay up to date on the latest sales technologies and tools, integrating them into the sales process to streamline operations and improve results.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 15+ years of relevant industry-based sales experience, preferably within enterprise technology, hardware, services, print, personal systems, or adjacent markets, with the ability to apply customer, market, and competitive insight.

  • Proven experience managing and growing relationships with large, complex global customers while driving long-term business outcomes.

  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention.

  • Demonstrated success building trusted advisor relationships with senior customer stakeholders and executive decision-makers.

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong understanding of forecasting, business planning, resource management, and performance metrics to drive profitable growth.

  • Experience operating at enterprise scale within complex global organizations, successfully leading cross-functional transformation efforts and delivering outcomes through influence, collaboration, and executive stakeholder management.

The pay range for this role is $273,700.00 - $410,550.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
