Pratt & Whitney Military Engines is seeking a Director, F135 Digital Integrations, to lead the integration of AI/ML, digital twins, and advanced analytics into the F135 engine program, keeping it at the forefront of the aerospace industry. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a forward-thinking digital transformation leader who can rapidly translate digital concepts into deployed solutions on a large, complex program. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Serve as the trusted authoritative leader in the identification, evaluation, and integration of advanced digital tools, platforms, and methodologies that enhance program efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Continuously evaluate the state of the industry in digital capabilities, identifying opportunities to accelerate integration of emerging technologies into the F135 program. 

  • Influence the program digital strategy and roadmap to integrate long-term RTX digital goals into F135 Program business objectives. 

  • Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages innovation, agility, continuous learning, and professional growth. 

 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or other STEM related field with 14 years of experience in software development and digital transformation roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership role; or an Advanced degree in with 12 years of experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role. 

  • Experience with emerging digital trends, tools, and methodologies, including AI/ML, digital twins, advanced data analytics, and cloud computing. 

  • Proven track record of leading the integration of advanced digital technologies into large programs and complex, matrixed organizations. 

  • U.S. Citizenship required due to export control regulations. 
     
    Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, particularly with propulsion systems. 

  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or Model Based Enterprise (MBE). 

  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks, with experience as an Agile team leader. 

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
