DevOps Engineer II
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
- Automate workflows and deployment processes to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues.
- Ensure security and compliance across all systems and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and improvements.
- Document processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related role.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
- Experience in Azure or AWS.
- CI/CD Pipeline experience.
- Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python (Boto3), AWS CLI, or Azure CLI.
- Current/Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Infrastructure as Cloud: Terraform (preferred), Ansible, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Chef, Puppet.
- CI/CD Pipelines (YAML Based): AWS, Azure, GIT Hub.
- M365/O365 experience and Identity Architecture (SAML, OAuth, AzureAD, Okta, etc..).
- Visio and diagramming skills/experience.
- Azure Government.
- AWS Government.
- Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, Aqua, Twistlock.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Frequent communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices that adhere to industry-specific compliance and security standards ensuring secure and reliable deployment pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, and participate in incident response efforts to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $82,039.23 - $112,803.95. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
