As a Design Quality Assurance (DQA) Conformity Agent, you will perform technical tasks that support the planning and execution of hardware and test station conformity inspections. You’ll provide technical assistance to engineers by supporting conformity inspections and related processes, ensuring compliance with established standards and requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior support staff to discuss inspection details, interpret findings, and evaluate the implications of conformity results to support quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.

This role will be worked onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA.   Relocation assistance is available.

What You Will Do:

• Provide technical support to Engineers on hardware/test station conformity

• Provides technical support to Engineers on conformity inspections and associated processes

• Plans and executes hardware and test station conformity inspections

• Maintains test setups and equipment

• Gathers and maintains documentation to support statements of conformity

• Collaborates with Engineering for scheduling/executing conformities to meet project needs

• Travel up to 5% - domestic

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

• Experience with configuration management processes and tools

• Experience in processes pertaining to Engineering development and qualification/verification testing

• Experience reading and verifying hardware drawings

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience comparing design data to the as-built configuration of developmental hardware

• Experience with FAA requirements

• Experience obtaining authorization for internal or customer specific conformities to sign FAA paperwork

• Ability to work independently and manage schedule and priorities

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
