Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is seeking a Depot Repair specialist based in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will support all transportation, shipment coordination, and supplier related sustainment activities for the program, with primary support to the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM).

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with program personnel to align agile planning with program strategies, objectives, and milestones.
  • Coordinate and support internal reviews, supplier reviews, customer program review meetings (PRMs), staffing reviews, and decision reviews to meet contract commitments.
  • Oversee supplier shipments, track status, and report updates to stakeholders to maintain alignment with customer and program requirements.
  • Develop, track, and manage program budgets including forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
  • Support contract proposal activities including bidding, gating, negotiation, contract definition, and program start‑up.
  • Serve as a critical link between engineering development and field operations, driving solutions from start‑up through deployment.
  • Communicate effectively and present confidently to internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating influential leadership and cross‑functional coordination. 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience with data management, CDRL requirements, and/or engineering tools/databases (PRISM, Agile, Windchill, etc.).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience establishing and managing external repair vendors, preferably within missile or defense systems environments.
  • Strong understanding of cPDM, repair documentation requirements, compliance standards, and domestic/international trade regulations (ITAR, EAR).
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to brief leadership, engage customers, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, program financials, and customer contracts; Earned Value (EV) certification or equivalent EV management experience.
  • Experience working with Global Trade Compliance and navigating export documentation requirements.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity, work across boundaries, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Mission Assurance.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work effectively in office, lab, or field environments.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
