Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer. Step into a dynamic leadership role as a Test Site Lead with Raytheon, where you’ll drive mission-critical operations at our partner facility in Moorestown, NJ. In this exciting position, you’ll represent Raytheon as the go-to leader, ensuring seamless alignment of team efforts with program objectives. You’ll take charge of planning and executing the Integration and Test (I&T) plan, managing lab schedules, coordinating resources, and addressing priorities to deliver outstanding results. As a key communicator, you’ll build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, tackle challenges and provide solutions that keep the program on track. Your areas of responsibility will include ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence. What You Will Do
In this Systems Engineer Site Lead role, you will support the following types of activities:
- Represent Raytheon as the onsite lead and aligning the team to program goals
- Regularly interact with internal and external customers and partners
- Respond to and report on issues and requests both within program and from customers and partners
- Plan for and communicate site needs to various stakeholders
- Coordinate efforts for all Raytheon resources at site, including:
- Operation and execution scheduling to execute the Integration and Test (I&T) plan, including lab scheduling
- Communication of issues and priority changes
- Ensuring resources have proper training and site access
- Ensure safety and maintenance activities are completed and documented, including defect tracking and resolution.
- Interface with site facilities to coordinate any support needed
- Please note that due to the nature of our work, this role requires onsite presence at our partner facility in Moorestown, NJ. Some travel might be required.
- Travel for this position is required, about 10%.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.
- Experience with systems engineering, system integration, system verification, and/or system test.
- Experience with working with US Navy programs.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience as a site lead, including personnel management and technical team leadership.
- Prior experience with naval radar programs.
- Experience working with external contractors.
- Experience with or certification in Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Subject matter expertise with systems integration, verification, and validation.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
