The Course Facilitator supports the student learning experience for a virtual course by answering student questions, validating automated grading and feedback behaviors, and providing facilitator-owned inputs to course deliverables as specified in the SOW. The facilitator performs troubleshooting and support within facilitator permissions and escalates LMS defects, grading system defects, and infrastructure issues to the appropriate technical teams (e.g., LMS Administration, DevOps, Capabilities, System Administration, Network support) using Government-approved processes and tools. The facilitator does not perform LMS system administration beyond assigned permissions. The Facilitator provides input to the Content Development and Instructional Design teams. The Course Facilitator’s reporting focuses on learner experience and course workflow support, including progress monitoring inputs, defect trends, and grading/feedback behavior validation, rather than roster/attendance ownership.

Work Schedule: The courses being supported are active from 0800-1700 M-F. Contract core hours are 1000-1400.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The Level 1 Course Facilitator shall possess the following capabilities: Effectively communicate. Be adept at effectively communicating to a broad range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
  • Ability to review automated graded activities quickly and determine if grading was applied appropriately.
  • Validate automated grading and feedback outputs for correctness and completeness; identify grading anomalies and document reproducible evidence for correction.
  • Provide first-line student support for a virtual learning experience (e.g., course navigation, content access, submission workflow issues, clarification of content) and escalate platform defects or other desired changes with sufficient diagnostic detail (steps to reproduce, timestamps, screenshots/logs as permitted).
  • Troubleshoot students' issues with virtual learning course.
  • Support Government-directed student progress monitoring by compiling and validating required metrics/inputs (e.g., pacing indicators, completion status, at-risk flags) using Government-approved formats and tools.
  • Maintain facilitator issue logs for recurring student issues and grading anomalies in Government-approved tracking tools and provide reproducible defect documentation to support timely resolution.
  • Assist in preparation of course deliverable inputs per the SOW by providing facilitator owned sections/data (e.g., grading anomalies observed, recurring student issues), as tasked.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to students pertaining to general networking systems, operating systems, and technical writing.

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI preferred

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Education/instructional Technology, Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of relevant experience

OR

Associate's degree (or 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in a related field) and six (6) years of relevant experience

OR

Experience within last two (2) years as a certified T50 Exploiter Trainer and five (5) years of IO or EA experience

Minimum Years of Experience:

At least six (6) months of FORGE/HAMR teaching experience in the last two years

OR

Experience within last two (2) years as a certified T50 Exploiter Trainer and two (2) years of IO or EA experience

Relevant Experience includes facilitating or supporting delivery of technical/cyber training (virtual instructor-led), providing student support in online learning environments, validating grading/feedback outputs (manual or automated), and documenting/escalating courseware or platform issues using approved processes/tools.

Experience facilitating or supporting technical training delivery and

providing first-line student support (course navigation, submissions, basic troubleshooting) is preferred.

Experience reviewing grading outputs (manual and/or automated) to

identify obvious anomalies and ensure feedback completeness prior to release is preferred.

Experience documenting student-impacting issues with reproducible details

(steps, timestamps, screenshots/logs as permitted) and escalating via Government-approved channels/tools is preferred.

Familiarity using an LMS (e.g., Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, Cornerstone, Ginkgo, or equivalent) at an instructor/facilitator user level (not administrator) is preferred.

Experience compiling facilitator-owned reporting inputs (recurring student issues, grading anomalies, recommendations) in Government-approved formats is desired.

Experience protecting sensitive assessment information (e.g., rubrics,

answer keys, student data) and complying with need-to-know controls is desired.

Familiarity with common   delivery tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams) and courseware tools (e.g., Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia) is desired.

Experience shall include systems engineering with the most commonly used software-programming languages (to include but not limited to: Python, JAVA, HTML, PERL) is desired.

Compensation Details:

$160,000 - $210,000
